Nick Fry receives honorary degree from Cranfield University

The prestigious Cranfield University annually selects a small number of distinguished people to receive honorary degrees, in recognition of their influence in the sectors in which the post-graduate university specialises.

This year, Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Chief Executive Officer Nick Fry was chosen to receive an honorary degree and, along with five other honorary graduates, joined over 2000 graduates who received their degrees at the Cranfield campus last week.

Clive Temple, Programme Director for Cranfield’s MSc inMotorsport Engineering and Management, said: “Cranfield is proud to work with leading motorsport teams such as MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS. Among those graduating this year are Motorsport MSc students now working at both of the team’s factories in Brackley and Brixworth. However we don’t just provide talent to Nick’s team, we also support them through research and testing with the team accessing facilities and expertise here at Cranfield. Nick knows how to put all this talent and infrastructure to good effect. He values our greatest asset, our people, and knows how to get the best out of them.”
