Help guide student careers in motorsport

21 Mar 2012

Careers publisher Babcock is seeking young motorsport employees to talk about their jobs!

Babcock, a leading careers and specialist education publisher, is creating a new booklet about jobs in motorsport to guide, inspire and inform young people about the exciting opportunities in the industry, while showcasing motorsport organisations.

‘Working in Motorsport’ will be a high-quality national publication. Aimed primarily at the 13 to 19 age group, it will be used by schools and careers services.

The publication will feature real-life case studies about people in a range of jobs, aiming to cover a wide spectrum of the industry – from engineers and technicians through to drivers, track officials and support organisations.

Babcock are looking for people aged 30 or under to be interviewed about their roles in the industry. This would take half an hour or so and can be done by phone or email.

Each person interviewed, and their employer, will be able to see the draft article and sign it off before print.

If you’d like to be featured, please contact the writer, Arthur Allan, directly at [email protected]
